What about home-study or correspondence degrees?
Naturopathic medicine is a system of primary care. Therefore, it takes four years of training at a naturopathic college to receive a doctoral degree. There is no way to fit in four years of medical education into 6 months. There are also many aspects of a naturopath's training that require a hands on approach, such as labs, anatomy, dissection, and student practice.
Correspondence degrees are a scam when it comes to naturopathic medicine. Correspondence degrees are not accepted for any health profession in any state.
Many of these "schools" or "diploma mills" do not tell the perspective student upfront that they cannot practice legally anywhere in North America as a naturopathic physician or doctor. States have tried to regulate many of these "schools", but they hide under the cloak of religion, saying they are a religious group.
What about my pre-med - can I take it online?
Some pre-med bachelor of science degrees can be taken online, but you will still need to have access to a campus to take labs, etc. Always check with the college you wish to attend for your doctoral degree to make sure you will have the prerequisites required.
Make sure the college you are taking your pre-med classes at is regionally accredited, and is accredited by the state in which it is located to award the degree you are receiving. I recommend you shy away from colleges that are internet based only. Find a college that has a land based campus and internet classes. These degrees will be more creditable.
